Captain Geoffrey "Louis" Windsor was sure of his doom as his clipper skipped and churned down the unfortunate path toward the deafening waterfall that towered before him. He clenched his eyes shut and winced in preparation for the ship to shatter apart on the jagged rocks that awaited. But as the mist turned to heavy pounding water, and back to quiet mist, the impact never came. He opened his eyes and stared in grateful shock at the hidden cave his ship had passed into.
Captain Louis sniffed. There was something familiar about the aroma in the wet air above the hidden lake. He dipped his hand into it, and pulled up a puddle of gold. He took a cautious sip, and his eyes went wide in delight.
He'd discovered the mythical beer lake.
